Mei Mansion in Beiijing serves the cuisine preferred by Mei Lanfang, the famous actor of Peking Opera. The restaurant occupies an elegant 200-year old Beijing courtyard. It once was house of princess Rani who was concubine in the Qing Dynasty. There are white Yulan, green bamboo, willow and 200-year old date tree. Old photos, gramophone, a camera and furniture used by Mei are all in the style of 1920s. The décor recalls Peking Opera.
