Detailed Itinerary:

Day 1

Arrival Beijing
Arrive in Beijing, the capital city of China, your local guide will be meet you at the airport and transfer to your hotel by private vehicle. Free at leisure for the rest of the day.

Accommodation: In Beijing

Beijing, China's capital and one of the great travel destinations of the World, offers sights and cultural relics found no where else on Earth. The city has a character all its own; there are quadrangles, small alleys, tricycle, boiled mutton, roasted duck, arts and crafts, Peking Opera, The Great Wall, the 2008 Olympics venue and a vibrancy that is the distinctive flavor of Beijing.

Day 2

Beijing
Today, enjoy your full day Seat-in-Coach Tour (Bus Tour) that covers the most popular sites in Beijing city - Tian'anmen Square, Forbidden City and Temple of Heaven, Summer Palace.

Your coach guide will meet you at your hotel lobby on departure time then driving to the Tian'anmen Square. For about 0.5 hour short stop at this biggest city center square in the world, you will then continue your visit to the Forbidden City (2 hour), which was the Imperial Palace for 24 emperors during the Ming and Qing Dynasties and, it is one of the largest, and certainly the most completely restored, ancient architectural complex in the world.

Then visit (1 hour) the magnificent Temple of Heaven before lunch. This palace is a temple and monastery of the Geluk School of Tibetan Buddhism. The constructions and the artworks of the temple combine Han Chinese and Tibetan styles.

In the afternoon, drive to the Summer Palace, which is the largest ancient preserved garden in China and a former summer retreat for Emperors, for your 1 hour short visiting.

Day 3

Beijing
The star attraction of China is its Great Wall. After breakfast today, you will start another SIC tour for the famous Mutianyu Great Wall and the Ming Tombs (Changling Tomb) visiting.

Your coach guide will meet you at your hotel lobby on departure time and accompany you to Ming Tombs site first. The one you will visit -Changling Tomb, the biggest and first built at this historic site. After 1 hour visiting, you will be driven to a restaurant near the Ming Tombs site for lunch.

In the afternoon, take 1 hour driving you will reach Mutianyu Great Wall, which was first built in the mid-6th century during the Northern Qi, making it older than the Badaling section. And it is also one of the best-preserved sections with the largest construction scale and best quality among all sections of Great Wall,

Day 4

Beijing
Today’s activity will be a SIC tour to Beijing Hutong, Lama Temple (Yonghe Palace) and Panda House.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
Accommodation: In Beijing

Your local guide will meet you at your hotel lobby on departure time. And then, you will take a short Hutong exploration by rickshaw to touch the lives of ordinary Chinese people and reveal their social culture in today's Beijing City. And you can taste the traditional Chinese lunch with one of the family there.

After lunch, continue your tour to Yonghe Palace, which is the largest and best-preserved Lamasery of Yellow Sect in Beijing. About 1.5hours visiting in the palace, you will be driven to Beijing Zoo for a short stop at the Panda House, which is be separated into 3 parts – Full-grown Giant Panda’s Home, Sub-adult Giant Panda’s Home and Mother & Child Panda’s Home.

Day 5

Departure Beijing
Free at leisure until be transferred by private vehicle to the airport for the return flight.

A single room is subject to availability based on prior request at an additional cost; if the recommended hotel is not available, it will be substituted by a similar one.

4. Driver and English-speaking guide service on normal sightseeing activities noted in the itinerary. The sightseeing activities will be served as Seat-in-Coach tour except the one that been noted separately.

5. All entrance fees to scenic spots as shown in the itinerary. The final arrangement will be determined by local tour guides based on the local circumstances which are beyond the control of TopChinaTravel. TCT will adhere to the original itinerary as accurately as possible.
